RB - SERIES (nickname Mark/マーク;[1] born: September 23, 2006 [Age: 19]) is a Japanese-Peruvian YouTuber who formerly created Incredibox related content ranging from mods, art, music, and animations. RB - SERIES also had a secondary channel named "RB - SHORTS" which he posted animations starring his three characters, as well as a third channel named "RB - TENGOKU" featuring animations done in Flipnote Studio 3D related to his past animations from 2016-2018.

By April 2022, RB - SERIES was the one of the most successful Incredibox channels.

History[]

RB - SERIES began making Japanese Fortnite videos in late-2019 until mid-2020 when he began making fanmade Dystopia concepts before the official release, he had also coded his own characters into the game. RB had released his first mod titled "Braziltopia" on November 14, 2020, which is a hybrid of Dystopia (prior to the official release) and Brazil.

He released his first original mod titled Blinding Lights on December 24, 2020, which is a mod based on the song "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd, the mod is part of the Icon Series lineup. The mod later received a lot of negative feedback due to the mod being labeled as V9, along with the sounds not being isolated and being loud when combined with other sounds. The Icon Series later expanded with a version based on the song Thriller by Michael Jackson.

When Dystopia had released to the public, RB had started making animations based on what the other bonuses could be like. In June of 2021, RB had began uploading on RB - Shorts (later renamed "RB / Arby" and then changed back). He eventually started working on his second mod titled The Invasion which is a sci-fi themed version and a prequel to Dystopia, the demo was released on October 11, 2021 and eventually the full version on December 4, 2021, this would be the beginning of his original lineup of versions titled "Arbox" the title is a portmanteau of "Arby" and "Incredibox".

RB eventually started working on his third mod titled Airline, another sci-fi themed version that is part of Arbox. The mod was released on February 4, 2022 with bonuses released from February to May of that year. RB has also released other mods such as Incredibox Flash, a recreation of all the flash versions of Incredibox, and his version of Bite-Size Beats, which is a recreation of the version featuring Incredimen instead of the six spokescandies. On May 24, 2022, RB - SERIES had released a demo for a mod titled "Two Faces" which is based on the Unreleased track of the same name, it quickly got mixed reviews for having poorly done voice sounds by RB - SERIES, leading to a better version being made and receiving positive feedback. On June 19, 2022, RB -SERIES had created a third channel named RB - FLIPNOTES (later renamed to "RB - TENGOKU"), featuring animations done in Flipnote Studio 3D related to his past animations from 2016-2018.

Shortly after the release of Two Faces, Arby would be quick to work on his next mod, as on July 30, 2022, RB - Series would release the first teaser for the third installment in Arbox titled "Augury", which eventually released on September 1, 2022. Similar to the prior mods, Augury is another sci-fi themed, although there are also mysterious undertones. Later on October 8th, Augury would receive the rest of its bonuses, and finally solidify itself as the prequel to Airline.

On January 15, 2023, Arby announced he would be taking a break online as he and his mother had been hospitalized after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

RB said privately that he is currently living a peaceful life and doesn't want to be mentioned/associated with Incredibox again. and all he wants is his privacy to be respected.

Controversy[]

In April 2023, it came to light that Arby had sent pornography to some fans (which depicted feet fetish, minors, and animals, making it questionable and concerning why he had done these to begin with) that were minors, using people such as Brian and other people since 2020 at age 14. A group of people including ManuelH, mosqit4324 and Pickyradish contributed the most to this leading. This caused some to remain as fans and console Arby and others to leave and go against him. He had stated that he wanted to move on from these actions and had apologized multiple times, though people had not trusted him as he had apparently continued.

Afterwards, it was suspected that a few allegedly alternate accounts of Arby appeared across social media, though they claim to not be Arby and instead a close friend in real life, though might be yet to be confirmed due to lack of public evidence. Around the time, others had began to discuss how Arby could have a big ego in the mod making field, stating that he wants to be better than Artemiy Kopych and Rem, saying that "I'll make their jaws drop and i'm way better than them". Furthermore, it had been criticized how Arbute Club episodes use plagiarism (such as traced shots) from animes such as One Piece, though it had also been brought up that this had been too obvious and was always no issue to some.

A couple of weeks later in late-May, and after supposedly deleting his Discord account and potentially abandoning his Discord server as a whole, he had rebranded as "RB - SERIES Inc.", and began co-posting videos as a "one-man studio", hiding any negative comments as always. The debut video eventually gained a massive dislike over like ratio. In various comment replies asking about Arbox, he had stated he will most likely not return to Incredibox, and Arbox will continue as a manga. On June 23, he had mentioned via. Instagram story that he had been hospitalized due to his excessive use of chemicals consumed during his various attempts of suicide, and that "the chances of me to die from poisoning are very high". A few days later on the 25th, he had done another statement via. YouTube that he will take a long break from content creating, though strangely enough he nowhere mentions anything related to what he had claimed in his story.

On September 17, 2023, RB - Series' channel was found to be deleted (or reported by some as terminated) following his actions. Artemiy Kopych said the RB - Series deletion to be an "Epic W" in a YouTube community post right after.

Trivia[]

  • RB - SERIES is often compared to Rem, as they are both Japanese YouTubers who make similar content.
    • Like Rem, as RB's primary language is Japanese, most of his animations would sometimes feature inaccurate lip sync.
      • His animation of the Dystopia Incredimen singing Dame Da Ne, released on March 27, 2021, had nearly perfect lip-sync, as it is a Japanese language song.
  • The title for the "Icon Series" mod comes from Fortnite's Icon Series, which is a collection of items focusing on notable celebrities, artists, and influencers.
  • He has ADHD.
