• Tislub has said that Yubin Niiku II takes place 12 years after the original (1992 + 12 = 2004)
• This mod is based on the 2022 point-and-click horror game "Who's Lila".
• Sandy (Beat 4) had her sound changed some time after the mod’s release.
• There were 2 attempts before to make a yubin niiku sequel, one being the orphanage and the other being sguabadh sgrion
  • the orphanage was the first attempt. It was cancelled due to a lack of motivation and "weirdly political stuff that absolutely does not belong in a incredibox mod" according to Tislub.
    • Two of the polos from that cancelled attempt (The Reward & Gluttony) would later reappear in Katabasis.
  • sguabadh sgrion (aka The screenwiper) was the second attempt. It was also cancelled due to a lack of motivation, but also for being "Bad in general" according to Tislub.
    • One of the polos from that cancelled attempt, Johnathan, would later reappear in this mod, albeit redesigned, and another, Unknown, in Katabasis but with the name Amatsu-Mikaboshi.
