The Invasion is about a fan-made topic, which is not part of Incredibox's canonical main history and/or universe, and is therefore not affiliated with So Far So Good (unless if that mod was approved by them to be playable in the app, in which case it is still not canon.) |
The Invasion was a mod created by RB - SERIES, and was previously the first version in Arbox. The Invasion was a supposed prequel to Dystopia and borrows a few fanmade Dystopia designs and sounds that RB - SERIES has previously created.
Development History[]
Before the mod was actually created, beats 1-3 and effect 2 would first appear in a video released by Arby on July 21st, 2021. The video is titled "Incredibox V8 Dystopia + 4 Sounds" and features earlier designs of the characters, who overall maintain their appearance and sound, with the only changes being their color palette reflecting that of Dystopia's. One month later on August 18th, the first teaser for The Invasion would be released. Another month would pass as on September 6th, the second teaser would release. Yet another month passes, and the demo for The Invasion would release on October 11th. Finally, on November 16th, the third and final teaser would be released, and was later followed in the next month with the full release on December 4th. As of February 10th, 2023, The Invasion was removed from Arbox, as RB-SERIES felt that The Invasion lacked any sort of connection to the rest of the Arbox episodes. But can still be played by clicking the Icon. It left Airline, the next part, to take its place as the first episode.
