Shpongle is an Incredibox modification, published under Poggers Gang's name, directed by Artemiy Kopych, which released on July 28th, 2024.
Development[]
On April 1st, 2024, an announcement teaser was released, showing Hallucinogen and Masked Fan, as well as the sounds for Braintank and A Freaking Flower.
Later, when the announcement teaser reached 20,000 views, Artemiy poster a teaser image showing Buddha Statue.
Around a month later, Artemiy posted another image teaser, with a close-up of Pauline's eyes.
On June 19th and 20th, Artemiy posted two more image teasers, one showing a blue mask resembling Shpongle's original album art, and the other showing Unicorn Being, the posts also saying "18/20" and "19/20" respectively (showing how many characters were complete at the posts' creation).
On June 22nd, Artemiy announced that Shpongle had all 20 characters complete, but not the bonus. He also posted the splash screen image for Shpongle, with the text "GET READY".
1 day before Shpongle's release, Artemiy released a video that showcased the main menu process for Shpongle, then said that Shpongle would release the day after, while showing the sounds for Hallucinogen, Rhodo Druid, Braintank, Masked Fan, Buddha Statue, and A Fucking Flower.

- According to Artemiy, Shpongle's BPM is 181.63.
- According to PersonFromBrazil, Shpongle's key is A# phrygian.
- Hallucinogen and Raja Ram are based on the duo that worked on the Shpongle music group, Simon Posford and Raja Ram.
- Masked Fan is based of the band's mascot mask, mainly based off a cover of Shpongle's debut album, called Are You Shpongled?.
- Characters such as Braintank, Jellyfish Lady and Circuits were based off different songs from Shpongle. In particular, Brain in a Fish Tank, How the Jellyfish Jumped Up the Mountain and Circuits Of The Imagination.
- Dancing Demon, Unicorn Being and Pauline were based off Shpongle concert performers from Shpongle – Live In London On 25 October, 2013 and Shpongle Live @ Hammerstein Halloween
- Shaggyhatfan was based off a random audience member vibing at a Shpongle concert in London on October 25th, 2013.
- Pauline is based off one of Shpongle's lead singers Michele Adamson.
- Desmond's design was inspired by the look of dated edutainment games from the 90s, most specifically from games like Sonic's Schoolhouse, Rolypolys no Nanakorobiyaoki, and Baldi's Basics. He was also made in Blender, a free, open-sourced 3D program.
