This page is about a fan-made topic, which is not part of Incredibox's canonical main history and/or universe, and is therefore not affiliated with So Far So Good (unless if that mod was approved by them to be playable in the app, in which case it is still not canon.) |

Reason: some of the disturbing designs |
Mono is an Incredibox modification made by Apollo The Polo, which released on May 22nd, 2023.
A remake of this demo made by L-G123 was also released on February 1st, 2024.
Development[]
The development of this mod was made through several modifications, whether in terms of the style of music or other subtle changes, and apparently everything was going well, furthermore, almost all poles were completed, but then GreenyShorts, one of the mod developers, decided to just leave and consequentially end all the progress the mod was making.
Besides, Apollo was already giving up on the project at that time. According to Apollo, nobody wanted to work on Alter and nobody really cared about changing much back with the new and the old Mono. Until later it continued again, where everything since Alter was no longer considered canon.
This led to the development of Mono, but ended up cancelling Alter (even losing a polo/character design contest). A V2 was planned and reworked, but not much is known. This back and forth happened several more times, but it was decided that if Mono was never made, Apollo would know what to do. In the end, it was considered that someone else can make their own modification of Alter. But this time they were going old school with it.
Around the time that teaser 1 was remade, introducing improved sounds in addition to other design changes. This event happened when Apollo's channel had roughly a thousand subscribers. When Apollo initially hit 600 subscribers, he was already preparing a second teaser (which introduced the current changes), where at that time Greeny had returned to the team. Although, it would end up that Apollo would lose interest due to the amount of people being ungrateful and asking for links or rushing the mod. This in turn led to Apollo abandoning the mod.
During one of Apollo's Minecraft Dungeons streams, a person came and said they didn't watch his videos because Mono hadn't come out. And Apollo, like Splat Jack, said he wouldn't give a release date until everything was finished. After a while, due to the demo having been released, a user on YouTube known as L-G123 was making some updates from the released demo, where he would only be giving animations to the characters, After he gained support, he managed to finish all the animations, and nominated for the project's name to be the "Mono Demo Remake", adding 3 new secret sounds. Apollo consequentially released a video about this update, saying that it wasn't made by him, but still placing the original project in the description and a download link. According to Splat Jack, the reason melody 4 and voice 4 were discarded was because they had different note progressions compared to the other sounds, and for other sounds they were exchanged with newer ones.
Splat Jack eventually left the development team at one point because he and Apollo experienced a falling out between them. Later, when Apollo cancelled the mod, a person named Kummie wanted to make his own version. Apollo let him do it, and this version would change the style of the mod's music once again, but Kummie said he would only cancel it if people didn't bother him, and in the end he cancelled it for that reason. So, this caused Apollo to came back to the project, sharing that Greeny had left the team, and the mod's development had been cancelled. After this even, there was another video showcasing a new teaser for the mod, but this ended up being a prank. Apparently, Mono had been in development since the first teaser for Augury.
Fun fact: A Brazilian YouTuber called: Mega Mods, he made a modification of Mono, and added some new sounds, reworking others only found in teasers (which have now been removed from Apollo's channel, but can be found again on the channel: Incredimemes, in the form of Lost Media, also teasers 3 & 4 were posted by Mega Mods on his channel), where there was an attempt to recreate them, but which still respected how the originals were. Even though it is on top of a GrandFusion mod, it is considered a + (Plus) Edition by its creator.
