Galaxy is a fanon topic

This page is about a fan-made topic, which is not part of Incredibox's canonical main history and/or universe, and is therefore not affiliated with So Far So Good (unless if that mod was approved by them to be playable in the app, in which case it is still not canon.)

Galaxy is a mod created by Rem that originally released on May 27th, 2021. Not long after, it was then updated on July 27th of the same year. Then, it was officially remade on May 9th, 2025, being available to download on both PC and Android via its release video. On July 21st, Galaxy was made available on Incredimod.

Timeline[]

Galaxy was Rem's first fully original modded version, sharing no sprites, sounds, or animations with the official Incredibox versions, which at the time was rare as most mods were simply reskins.
Galaxy was first teased on May 16th 2021, showcasing a polo character in the foreground looking at the moon in the background, it then cut to a title card revealing the name of the mod with the words "Coming Soon". The second teaser later released on May 21st, 2021, the teaser revealing the first character, Earth, showing his early animation on a background of stars, as well as many other sounds from other characters.

Galaxy mostly takes place before the events of Evadare as they both star Rafe as the protagonist, and Aries is seen in the background of Evadare's third bonus (which is also named Galaxy) and is a sound in Void. Galaxy's third bonus, however, takes place after the events of Void.

Release[]

Galaxy released with only 12 sounds, three of which were ambient sounds rather than traditional sounds. The mod was criticized for these ambient sounds, with Artemiy Kopych saying in his review, "Incredibox is supposed to sound like music, but this is just ambient sounds which shouldn't be here." However the reception to the mod was overall positive as this was Rem's first fully original mod, so mistakes were expected. The mod also released with a single bonus, titled Forgotten.

Zodiac Update[]

The Galaxy Zodiac Update was released on July 27th 2021, but was first teased on July 21st 2021.

The Galaxy Zodiac Update added 7 new sounds to the mod, bringing it to a total of 19 sounds. The update also added 2 new bonuses as well as remaking the first bonus.

Remake[]

On May 9th, 2025, an official remake of Galaxy was released, with all the designs, sounds, and bonuses redone and a new sound, Virgo.

It's official description is the following: "Galaxy is one of the mods from 2021, it was first fan-made version with original music and all animated bonuses - this is the remake of galaxy, with all improved designs, music and animations ✨"

Trivia[]

Galaxy, both remake and original, have a loop time of 10,909 milliseconds and a BPM of 88.
Galaxy's remake was released on Mother's day as a nod to Rafe's Mom.
As you place more Zodiac characters the backdrop slowly lights up purple.
When you place more Astrology characters the backdrop becomes more grainy.
Cancer is the only Zodiac to not be present in the mod.
