Galaxy is an Astrology and Space themed Mod made by Rem on May 27 2021.
Galaxy was Rem's first fully original modded version sharing no sprites, sounds, or animations with the official Incredibox versions, which for the time was rare as most mods were simple reskins.
Galaxy was first teased on May 16 2021, and showed a polo character in the foreground looking at the moon in the background, it then cut to a title card revealing the name of the mod with the words "Coming Soon", the second teaser later released on May 21 2021, the teaser revealed the first character Earth, showing an early animation of Earth on a background of stars, and many other sounds were revealed in the teaser as well.
Galaxy seems to be linked Evadare as it shares the same main character and Aries is seen in the background of Evadares third bonus, this bonus also shares its name with Galaxy.
Release[]
Galaxy released with only 12 sounds, three of which were ambient sounds rather than traditional sounds, the mod was criticized for these ambient sounds, with Artemiy Kopych saying in his Review "Incredibox is supposed to sound like music, but this is just ambient sound which should not be here." However the reception to the mod was overall positive as this was Rem's first fully original mod so mistakes were expected. The mod released with one bonus entitled "Forgotten".
Zodiac Update[]
The Galaxy Zodiac Update was released on July 27 2021, but was first teased on July 21 2021.
The Galaxy Zodiac Update added 7 new sounds to the mod bringing it to a total of 19 sounds. The update added 2 new bonuses as well as remaking the first bonus.
