• August 10: The first teaser was released, Showing the old designs of Givelt, Pshs, Polywick, Thump', POGO and High’n; BABY all caps and Daa Dum Da Do Down in the background.

2024

• January 3: Silhouettes of beats were shown.
• January 9: Silhouettes of effects were revealed.
• January 12: The second teaser was released, featuring redesigns for the previous teaser and features Hough' and Clackin’ Dude in the background along with BABY all caps, Da dum Da Do Down, and Crowd.
• January 15: Silhouettes of melodies were revealed.
• January 26: Silhouettes of Voices were revealed.
• February 6: A video telling of the release date releases. In which it is confirmed as February 9th, Australian Time.
• February 9: Beatnik fully releases with all Bonuses, and Gameplay complete.

• In Bonus 2 (Mashup) one of the scenes appear with a white background and 6 boxes, in which it switches between the Main creators, Boogo and Seal, and Concept Designers, Gumi and Oxenmoxie. This is also a reference to a certain Marilyn Monroe picture which the same 6 boxes along with colorful 50's/60's inspired colors.
• In Bonus 3 (Afterparty), you can hear other people's voices from the bonus. This is because Boogo hosted a submission of your voice for the third bonus in the Discord server.
• This mod features seven obviously non-human characters. Those characters include Givelt, Pshs, Polywick, Hough', BABY all caps, LiteUp, and POGO.
• This mod has three characters whose names are in all caps. These characters are GWRH3TC, POGO, and ILOVELIVEMUSIC. This excludes BABY all caps because "all caps" is part of their name.
