Axe Boat was a special limited time version of Incredibox made for the Axe Boat Festival, and was released on July 15, 2014[1] made exclusively for The French audience of Incredibox. After this version was removed, this version ended up being internationally re-released as The Love four months later.

Information[]

Axe Boat was created by So Far So Good and Axe. There are 2 people known to be connected to Axe Boat, which is Marie Clément, involved with the writing[2], and Pierre-Olivier Dezèque, who was the Art Director for Axe Boat[2]. You can find their respective portfolio's by clicking on their names.

History[]

Mix For Peace was released in 2014. This was made in association with Peace One Day for a mobile music festival. Axe, creator of the first mobile music festival, teamed up with Incredibox to create Axe Boat. After Incredibox ended the partnership, the Incredibox website transferred directly to incredibox.com with no way to access Axe Boat.

Later in 2020, a user by the name computerdude77 restored Axe Boat using the original files and made it playable on their GitHub website.

Assets[]

The Flash assets of Axe Boat were ripped by Memory_001 and are available for download here.

The non-flash-friendly accessories and picto assets were ripped PersonFromBrazil and are available for download here.

Trivia[]

  • Following the shut down of Adobe Flash Player in early 2021, this version is no longer accessible on the mirror archive.
    • It can however be accessed on BlueMaxima's Flashpoint, along with the original flash games of the first four versions.
